At the request of Ruben Arutiunov, MEDIACRAT had been managing the creative aspects of VELIKIY EKONOM [The Great Economist] magazine, a publication for the graduates of the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics, from November 2006 to February 2007.

The editorial concept of the magazine was developed according to the same principle as in MAFIA, a similar alumni publication. VELIKIY EKONOM mainly focused on lively and informal interviews with the alumni, who discussed their current successes and shared their past experiences at the legendary “Pleshka\".

The distinctive feature of VELIKIY EKONOM’s design, developed by MEDIACRAT, was the original presentation of every interview in the magazine.
