100 Mysteries of Armenia

The second publication in The Great Armenia collection series, 100 Mysteries of Armenia – a photo album, pocket encyclopedia and travel guide – hit the market in March 2008.

The project features fascinating descriptions (in Russian and English languages) of the greatest natural, architectural, historical, and religious monuments of Armenia, written by Aris Ghazinian, one of the country’s most distinguished contemporary writers and journalists. Mr. Ghazinian also supervised the special photo expedition. The album’s photo illustrations were created by Moscow-based artist Anna Ponomareva.

MEDIACRAT developed and released the Internet version of 100 Mysteries of Armenia book in Russian and English languages, free access to which is available at www.wowarmenia.ru and www.wowarmenia.com websites.

100 Mysteries of Armenia, a photo album, pocket encyclopedia and travel guide is the second project in The Great Armenia collection series. The publication, released in Russian and English languages, features fascinating descriptions of the greatest natural, architectural, historical, and religious monuments of Armenia, written by Aris Ghazinian, one of the country’s most distinguished contemporary writers and journalists. Mr. Ghazinian also supervised the special photo expedition. The album’s photo illustrations were created by Anna Ponomareva, a Moscow-based photographer.

The project was released as part of the strategic partnership with Uniastrum Group.

Creative and commercial management of the project is provided by MEDIACRAT.

12 Commandments of Armenia is a unique documentary in Russian, English and Armenian languages featuring the most valuable and interesting natural and architectural monuments of contemporary Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. The documentary was produced by MEDIACRAT based on 100 Mysteries of Armenia book (MEDIACRAT Publishing).

The documentary was released as part of The Great Armenia project, managed and produced by MEDIACRAT in partnership with UNIASTRUM Bank. The author of the project – Aris Ghazinian, director – Aram Jilavian, composer – Ara Gevorkian.

In particular, the film features unique stories and little known facts about Mount Ararat, Khndzoresk cave complex, Garni Pagan Temple, and The Holly Cathedral of Etchmiadzin.

The Great Armenia project includes printed and audio editions of 100 Great Armenians of the XX century book and The Armenian Church book by Archbishop Magakia Ormanian. MEDIACRAT is planning to continue developing the project in 2009.

Creative management of the project is provided by MEDIACRAT.

january ′07 Mysteries of The Great Armenia

In 2007 the MEDIACRAT Team will reveal all the secrets of Armenia. The Publishing House is preparing a new edition in The Great Armenia collection series. The modern vision of the Armenian past, mysterious historical facts, the country’s unexplored regions, and unique illustrations by the most talented photographers will form the editorial concept of the 100 Mysteries of Armenia project.

Furthermore, in 2007 MEDIACRAT will release the audio edition of 100 Greatest Armenians of the XX Century, another publication in The Great Armenia series.
