Since 1 January 2011, Latvia has doubled state guarantees on bank deposits. From now on a client of any Latvian bank in case of its failure is entitled to receiving up to €100,000 from the Latvian state, which is twice as much as the previous limit. In the end of July employees of Henkel Russia, the Russian subsidiary of the global leader in laundry and home care, cosmetics, toiletries and adhesive technologies, visited Armenia for the annual conference dedicated to the company’s financial results in 2010. This June more than 250 Russia-based employees of Pernod Ricard, the world’s leader in premium alcohol, paid a visit to Armenia, the home of the legendary ArArAt cognacs, one of the key brands of the company. According to the National Readership Survey (NRS), monthly audience of Yerevan magazine in Moscow showed steep rise of 33.1% in March – July of this year.
